Driving licence law amended
 
As a result of the 18th amendment of the National Road Traffic Regulations published on 01 February 2011.

Drivers who obtain a heavy vehicle licence after 01 February 2011 will be allowed to operate light motor vehicles too. The new regulations introduced in November 2010 are no longer in force. Hence, drivers who obtain a C1 or C driving licence will be authorised to drive any motor vehicle for which a code B or EB is required.
